Spring Youth Camp at Waycross: March 12-14. All youth in grades 6 through 12 are invited to attend Spring Camp at Waycross.  This year's theme is "Service to Others".  There will be fun, worship, and chances to speak with people who have worked with the USERVE organization.  Contact Derek Parker for more information.  Grace Church has some scholarship funds available

PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE IN THE SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR PALM SUNDAY: March 28, 2010. Services on that day will be Morning Prayer at 9:15 am and Holy Eucharist at 10:30 am. There will be no 8:00 am service. The 9:15 am service will focus on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and will include a sermon and the blessing of palms. The 10:30 am service will focus on Jesus’ trial and crucifixion, and will include the Great Litany and a dramatic reading of the passion narrative. The choir will sing at both services. We envision that others will also find attending both services a spiritually nourishing way to begin Holy Week.  Hot cross buns will be served in the parish hall between the services. (Our ordinary Sunday schedule will resume the following Sunday: Easter Day).

CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES/HELPING HANDS: Extra cloth bags or paper bags with handles could be used for food pantry clients. Diapers, especially sizes 3 and 4 are always needed. Queen and king size sheets as well as blankets and towels are needed for the Blanket Cupboard. If you are unable to get out and purchase donations or deliver them, coupons and monetary donations would also be welcomed.

YOGURT LABELS TO SUPPORT CANCER RESEARCH: The Daughters of the King are collecting pink Yoplait yogurt labels to raise funds for breast cancer research. A collections container is available in the Parish Hall.

GATHERING GRACE: All are welcome to join us for a FREE noonday meal every Friday from 11:30am to 1:00pm in the Parish Kitchen. If you are interested in volunteering to help or donating food, please contact Derek Bailey.

EPISCOPAL RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT (ER&D) WORKS: There are 25,000 survivors of the Haitian earthquake in Diocesan camps, at over 60 mission sites. Building on its relationship with the Diocese of Haiti, ER&D effectively sourced and delivered food, water, and shelter to those most impacted. THANK YOU for your donations for Haiti.  During Lent, please reflect on how we can care for those who are suffering, and contribute to support ER&D in its life-saving work in more than 40 countries.

COFFEE HOUR REFRESHMENTS:  Volunteers are needed to bring refreshments for the Sunday morning coffee hour.  Over the past few months, we have had an increase of attendance.  As such, please plan to bring enough food to feed 25 – 30 people.  Fresh fruit, coffee cakes, pastries, cookies etc. are always welcomed.  If this is too much to prepare, consider sharing a Sunday with another family. The sign-up sheet is in the parish hall or you can contact Kay Gillespie.  Thank you for participating in this important ministry of parish life.
